Designed specifically for expecting and postpartum mums 5'3" & under, the Pocket Maternity Legging solves the fit issues petite mums face with standard maternity wear — leggings that are too long, waistbands that sit too high, and fabric that bunches in all the wrong places.
Created by founder Ally (5'1") during her own pregnancy, these leggings were tried and tested through pregnancy and postpartum to make sure they truly fit shorter frames. They combine comfort, support and practicality, with deep side pockets for everyday essentials.

Absolutely chuffed that Ali has brought out maternity leggings just as I’m starting to outgrow my Senara leggings that I wear constantly. Loving these leggings! I am 4’11 so trying to find leggings that actually fit (even 7/8) is soo difficult! Especially while pregnant because I can’t find any petite bump-friendly leggings anywhere. But these are so good they don’t bunch up at the knee and fit my leg perfectly which I’ve literally never had. They’re also very flattering and I feel like they could be worn either with activewear or with a jumper/ cardi which is obviously ideal while pregnant. I will definitely be buying more leggings/ flares after baby comes!

I have only trusted lululemon for leggings, until now! These are as comfortable as they are supportive, the fabric is high quality, not see through at all and feels buttery soft but thick and secure. The pockets are perfect too. I’m sharing avo with all my short legged friends!!

I've now bought two pairs of these because I can't just have one! They are so comfortable, the material is so soft but they still feel supportive and great to workout in. The leg length is perfect for me. Finding maternity-wear for us shorties is SO HARD so these were a real joy to find. I just need you to bring out a full range of petite maternity jeans and trousers now haha.

Buttery soft, great support for my 34 week bump, wish I'd bought these at 20 weeks!!! So so good to have them actually finish at my ankles not being all bunched up at the bottom! It's hard to imagine what I'll look like without the bump now but I think they might work for.me.for a while after pregnancy too, hooray for a high waist and pockets for.my phone when I start going back to running again!

I bought a pair of these leggings as a gift for a friend who was in the 2nd trimester. She absolutely loves them! As someone who already owns 4 pairs of the senara leggings I couldn’t of been happier when the maternity leggings were launched! I literally set an alarm for the time and date! The maternity leggings are so comfortable and feel so supportive. I went for the same size as my other leggings and they fit perfectly with still plenty of room for bump to grow. thank you for making a pregnant short woman’s life a lot easier!
I always struggle with leggings anyway as
a short gal and a quick google showed me petite maternity leggings were even harder to find so i was over the moon when i found Avo did both.
These leggings are SO soft, thick and the perfect length sitting just above my ankle - i am 5'2. I'm only early on so have a very small bump but there's plenty of stretch for them to grow with me. It's good to know they will fit postpartum too. They're super comfy and im already living in them lol. The pockets are really deep and just an added bonus in my opinion. I cant fault anything about them. Definitely considering buying in the other colour and hope even more colours and patterns get released soon!

The material is thick and supportive (but not restrictive). Feels lovely over my bump, but also great on the bum/thighs that aren’t looking/feeling like normal!! This is my third baby and I’ve tried so many maternity leggings which have all been thin and flimsy and these just couldn’t be more different!!

Have loved Avo for ages, perfect leggings for short gals - wear them in the gym but also at every other opportunity... so imagine my joy as they release a maternity range as I hit 5 months pregnant! Ordered on launch day and absolutely love them, perfect maternity shape, already taken them for a spin in the gym and still perfect for some heavy deadlifts. Please expand the maternity range ASAP!!

Why Avo is different
Most brands take a standard-size garment and just shorten it, same rise, same knee placement, just less fabric. At Avo, I design every piece from scratch for petite proportions: rise height, knee placement, pocket position, all built for women 5'3" and under from the first sketch, not scaled down after the fact.
Every piece is designed so it fits you properly. No folding waistbands, no rolling hems, no fabric bunching at the ankle. From rise to hem, every measurement is proportioned for petite frames, so you're not compromising or altering, you're just wearing it.
Avo was born from my own frustration. As a 5'1" woman, I spent years folding over waistbands and rolling up leggings, no brand fit me properly, however much I spent. So in 2018, with £3,000 in savings and no business background, I started designing my own from my back bedroom. Today I'm a mum running Avo full-time, and I still design every single product myself, because petite women deserve activewear built for them, not adapted for them.
