I bought for my daughter, who finds it hard to find clothes to sit perfectly on her waist, the fit was perfect, and she loved the feel of the fabric, and how it sat on her, she also said they were perfect for dance class, as she attended a dance class that day, and found them perfect. As a mum also happy as they do not ride up the leg, like some brands of shorts can do, so no need for pulling them back down. They also washed perfectly. Very happy mum and daughter, and daughter definitely wants to add to her collection, with leggings, so will be buying more, and delivery was very quick
These shorts are so incredible. The colours are gorgeous, they’re so soft and buttery, the fit is unreal - I’m in love. I literally don’t want to wear them because I love them so much and want them to last forever. They’re so incredibly soft, theyre so flattering and I’m in love!!!!

Love these shorts. Bought them in the plum colour which is beautiful. Fully opaque and squat proof. Material is soft. Great length. Have worn them for yoga and the gym. So comfortable and can hang around all day in them. The waistband isn't going all the way up to my chest like other brands. I'm 5 foot tall and ordered xs. Even better than my lululemon wundertrain shorts as the waistband fit is better. Need another pair!
I absolutely love these shorts! I’m 5ft2 and the fit is amazing. I particularly love that the waist seems to sit perfectly. I didn’t realise until I put them on how much better buying a petite cut would be! No going back now! I’m looking forward to trying other Avo pieces!
Wore these to gym for first time today - and I love them! The material is soft but even though I was doing a lot of squats, they did not budge. The proportions are absolutely perfect (I'm 5ft).

These shorts tick all the boxes. Soft, supportive and a great length for me at 5’1. I’m a 10-12 and wasn’t sure which size to go for. On Ally’s advice I opted for an S. They looked very small on arrival so I was a bit worried but they have great stretch and fit perfectly with excellent support for my high impact workouts.

I purchased the cleo shorts in size small. Beautifully soft and I’m very happy with the length of them (I’m 5ft). I’m a size 8/10, pear shaped. The waist of the Small fits lovely - really comfortable. The hips feel snug, and I was in two minds about sizing up, but I think the waist would then be too large. Always a challenge for me as a pear shape. However, the shorts are still comfortable and suitable for the purpose I purchased them for, and I would return to Avo for further purchases.

It was lost in the post so I never received my order, took over 2 weeks and still no resolve so I requested a full refund, shame as I am a returning customer but felt being left 2 weeks without a replacement being sent was unfair as it was not my fault. Why Avo is different

At Avo, I design every piece from scratch for petite proportions: rise height, knee placement, pocket position, all built for women 5'3" and under from the first sketch, not scaled down after the fact.
Every piece is designed so it fits you properly. No folding waistbands, no rolling hems, no fabric bunching at the ankle. From rise to hem, every measurement is proportioned for petite frames, so you're not compromising or altering, you're just wearing it.
Avo was born from my own frustration. As a 5'1" woman, I spent years folding over waistbands and rolling up leggings, no brand fit me properly, however much I spent. So in 2018, with £3,000 in savings and no business background, I started designing my own from my back bedroom.
