A Journey 6 Years in the Making
I began this journey over 6 years ago with a simple goal: to create activewear that fits and flatters petite women. At just 5'1" myself, I struggled to find workout clothing that suited my frame. When I couldn’t find what I needed, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
That passion evolved into Avo Activewear, a brand that’s dedicated to empowering petite women through thoughtfully designed, high-quality activewear that celebrates their unique shapes and needs. Over the years I've worked tirelessly, often balancing multiple roles as a solo entrepreneur, to grow Avo from a small operation into the leading petite activewear brand that it is today.
Recognition from Industry Experts
Being recognised by Drapers is an incredibly humbling experience for us. The judging panel consists of some of the most respected and influential figures in fashion retail, making this acknowledgment even more significant. To see Avo Activewear listed alongside industry giants like New Look, ASOS, Marks & Spencer, and AllSaints is a true honour, and it highlights how far we’ve come as a small, niche brand. This recognition affirms our commitment to creating innovative, high-quality petite activewear and motivates us to continue pushing boundaries in the industry.
What’s Next for Avo Activewear?
As I reflect on this recognition, I'm so excited about what’s to come. We’ll continue innovating, listening to our customers, and delivering the best in petite activewear. From new product launches (like our recently released Elara Flare leggings) to expanding our size offerings, we have big plans on the horizon.
