This is a surreal moment for me - Avo Activewear has been featured in The Times! 🤯🥹📰
When I started Avo, it wasn’t with a big team or a fancy office. It was just me, a sewing machine, and a determination to create activewear that actually fit petite women. I spent countless hours tailoring and testing to get the perfect fit, because I knew I wasn’t the only one struggling to find leggings that didn’t bunch at the ankles or roll down at the waist.
Now, to see my story in The Times is something I never could have imagined. The article shares the journey of building Avo Activewear, the challenges along the way, and why creating a brand specifically for petite women has been so important to me.
It felt extra special for this to be published on International Women’s Day. Avo has always been about empowering women to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their own skin. Knowing that so many of you feel seen and supported by this brand means everything.
I want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you who has supported Avo, whether you've shopped with us, shared our story, or sent a kind message. You are the reason this brand exists, and I’m so grateful for this community.
And of course, a huge thank you to Harriet Meyer for the wonderful write-up and for sharing my story!
